Better late?

I doubt any of our members even hit our front page anymore since there is more dust on it than your Atari, but here goes:

BGA is not dead as BoBs has said in the post below. We are still hosting events if not small and a bit thrown together. Gooche’s house has become a base of operations over the last year for events.

While we have been doing a lot of random get-togethers, I am still looking to find a location to host at least one LAN Party this year. The guys from AnnapolisLAN are more than welcome and might make it easier since they’re currently having monthly LAN parties.

I don’t even remember the last time we had an official PC Party but with the release of great games like Team Fortress 2, UT2K7 (see also, UTIII), and C&C3, it seems only fitting that we try to get something together soon. More on this in the coming weeks.

Notable events of 2007:

Gooche and Rebecca had a beautiful baby girl, Hailey. I think an overdue public congratulations is in order on this one.

JaXxX has purchased an amazing home complete with pool table and in ground swimming pool. Congratulations to him on that.

BoBs has settled into Maryland and got himself a pretty nice job doing Database stuff. Welcome back you commie bastard.

Crazy (Lil Dave) has left us for the Marines but still comes back to Baltimore any chance he can. We thank him for volunteering for service of our country.

BGA is now free from the hell known as Balticon, as we have severed ties with the BSFS. We plan on taking a trip somewhere on Memorial Day weekend this year. It’s still a little early to announce anything yet, but hopefully we can all get together for this one.

If I left any good news out, feel free to let me know in the forums.
